Our current fundraising campaigns. We'd love to have your prayers and help with raising funds to meet these needs!

General Fund

Gifts to our general fund are applied to the area of greatest need, unless specifically designated for something in particular. Common uses of our general fund are food and medical needs for Team Heroes Children's Home and street children; transportation for staff, students, and supplies; wages for our missionaries; and facility/auto maintenance.

Student Education

Gifts for student education are applied directly to cover school fees and cost of books, supplies, uniforms, and other school-related needs. Students we support have no family members able or willing to send them to school. Annually, student education costs are $120 for primary, $300 for junior high, $600 for high school, and $2400 for college/university (tuition/room/board).

The Filter Project

Gifts to The Filter Project Kitale project let us purchase Sawyer water filters units. Each filter unit gives our team access to homes in which we make disciples of Jesus. A gift of $55 supplies one filter unit that lasts 20+ years; and also provides a modest wage for our missionaries working daily in the field.

Sani-Packs for Girls

A gift of $7 gives a sani-pack to a girl. Your gift allows her to care for herself well during her menstrual cycle for 3+ years. This promotes her health and hygiene, builds her self-esteem, and keeps her in school for more days each month. It can prevent her from being exploited from desperation for supplies.

Facility Improvements

(Team Heroes)

A gift for Team Heroes Facility Improvements allow us to make important changes to our children's home. It covers things like beds and bedding, gardening supplies, lighting, roofing, furniture, and housewares.

MHI Mission Center

We have outgrown our current facility and need to build a new building. It will have multi-purpose classrooms, a church and school, community center, vision care clinic, and larger children's home to care for more orphans.

Vision Care Outreach

Each February we hold a 5-day vision clinic serving impoverished communities with free eye exams, eyeglasses, medicines, and education. Upon the establishment of our mission center, with adequate funding we plan to continue this service year-round, as a permanent outreach which is also evangelistic and builds up the local church.

Resources for Leaders

We have obtained and distributed materials for Sunday school teachers and other local church leaders. Examples include evangelistic tracts, Bibles, lessons from Child Evangelism Fellowship, and various Bible studies which we have permission to print and give away.
