GOD'S LOVE IN ACTION
Mwangaza House International is working to transform communities in a number of ways. Our work is currently focused in Trans-Nzoia County, Kenya near the town of Kitale. At the heart of all we do is the desire to see people know Jesus Christ and grow in Him. We train up leaders who know their identity as ambassadors of Him. We work to edify the local church and to provide resources and teaching that guide Christ's followers as they grow in faith in Him​

Serving individuals in practical ways creates meaningful connections. By caring for physical human needs, we gain special opportunities to share God's love and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our focused outreaches are:​

ORPHAN OUTREACH (Team Heroes)
​
We raise up orphaned children in the love and light of Jesus Christ, caring for youth of diverse ages and backgrounds. We support a Kenyan community-based organization called Team Heroes, through which God is meeting the spiritual, physical, and academic needs of kids who have no family members able or willing to care for them. We support over 50 students in primary school through college/university. We also feed and minister to street children. A monthly gift of $50 meets a student's needs for school and health. WATER FILTRATION (The Bucket Ministry Kitale)
We partner with The Bucket Ministry to share the love of God through the gift of clean, safe drinking water. In villages we place Sawyer water filters which remove water-borne pathogens for 20+ years. We visit each recipient home 3 or more times, teaching people about sanitation. In these home visits we share what it means to be a follower of Jesus and how to make more disciples of Jesus. This contributes directly to the growth of local like-minded churches. A donation of $50 provides a home with the water filter unit and teaching. LEARN MORE
SANI-PACKS FOR GIRLS
We produce and provide washable sanitary hygiene packs and health and safety education for girls in school. The need for this is great as girls living in poverty are easily exploited when they have no means to safely manage their menstrual period. A sani-pack promotes a girl's education, bodily health, and healthy self-image. Your gift of $5 provides a girl with a pack lasting 3 or more years. LEARN MORE
VISION CARE OUTREACH
We have partnered with Global Eyeglass Ministry and local eye care practitioners to meet a need for vision care in Trans-Nzoia County, Kenya. We hold an annual short-term vision clinic to provide people with eye exams and treatments, education, eyeglasses, and surgery. We see vision patients come to faith in Christ through the one-on-one connections they make with our vision care team. We are planning to make this an ongoing community service, as the need for vision care is astonishing. Your gift of $50 provides cataract removal for a person suffering with vision loss. LEARN MORE
TRAINING UP CHRISTIAN LEADERS & PROVIDING RESOURCES

All throughout East Africa, church leaders need teaching resources and leadership training. They desire supportive mentoring relationships with experienced ministers. Many want to receive doctrinal and theological instruction. ALL need PRAYER as spiritual enemies work against the cause of Christ. Many church leaders experience destructive levels of stress, financial hardship, and constant scrutiny resulting in burn-out and frustration. LEARN MORE
